Virtualizor 2.2.6 released !

The Virtualizor Team has released Virtualizor 2.2.6
This version contains some feature additions and bug fixes.

Below is a list of changes:
1) The disk resize process for Windows VPSs has been optimized.

2) Sound card support has been added for Xen-HVM and KVM.

3) Local VPS backups has been added.

4) [BUG FIX] RAM and Burst RAM would not be imported to the database correctly while importing OpenVZ VPSs (Only on CentOS 6)

5) [BUG-FIX] A bug has been fixed where the mouse cursor would lag when accessing Windows VPS via VNC.

6) [BUG-FIX] A bug has been fixed where only A record for subdomains could be added in DNS Management on the client side. Now the subdomain textbox can be left blank and the A record will be added for the master domain.

7) Added the dutch language translations on the admin and client side.

Virtualizor 2.2.5 Release Candidate Launched

The Virtualizor Team has released Virtualizor 2.2.5
This version contains some major feature additions and a bug fix.

Below is a list of changes:
1) The VPS Network (for XEN and KVM VMs) will always be configured when the VPS is started so that new IPs added or removed are edited from within the VM.

2) A new algorithm has been added for the backup snapshot creation feature. The snapshot size will not exceed 25 GBs.

3) Added the EMPS updater script so that the Admin can update the EMPS package when necessary. EMPS will not be updated automatically.

4) Added the VPS Status to the ADMIN API.

5) Added more error handling code for the background scripts.

6) Added Mirroring capability for the OS Templates Download.

7) The CRON job has been improved to now check for updates only once a day.

8) Bug Fix : While downloading ISO / OS Templates which were greater than 2 GB, the file size was wrongly shown and the ISO was not downloaded correctly. This is now fixed.

9) Bug Fix : A slave server could delete a VPS. This is now fixed.

10) Bug Fix : Virtualizor would not be accessible when rebooted on some servers due to the IPTABLES. This is now fixed.

11) Bug Fix : Changed the text service virtualizor start to service virtnetwork start since the virtualizor service does not handle networking anymore.

12) Bug Fix : EMPS used to timeout while doing tasks greater that 30 seconds. This is now fixed in the config. You will need to restart the virtualizor service for this to work.

13) Bug Fix : Virtualizor KVM (on some servers) had a bug while booting a VPS with an ISO. This is now fixed.

Virtualizor 2.2.4 Launched

The Virtualizor Team has released Virtualizor 2.2.4
This version contains some major feature additions and a bug fix.

Below is a list of changes:
1) Shifted to the new EMPS structure, this will speed up Virtualizor by 2 times.

2) Upgraded phpMyAdmin to version 3.4.2 which is the latest phpMyAdmin version.

3) OS Template Files will now be deleted when you remove an OS from Virtualizor.

4) VSwap will always be enabled for OpenVZ on an Enterprise Linux 6 to avoid RAM miscalculation.

5) Bug Fix : NAT settings were not properly propagated in Xen and KVM in a clustered setup.

6) Bug Fix : In the Admin Panel we have corrected the VPS RAM Utilization Labels.

7) Bug Fix : When rebuilding a VPS if there is an error and you resubmit the data, the progress bar stats were thrown as an error. This is now fixed.

8) Bug Fix : The VPS Backup logs didnt show the error correctly in Xen. This is now fixed.

9) Bug Fix : VPS Backups used to fail in OpenVZ sometimes. This is now fixed.

NOTE : Do not upgrade this version via the GUI update utility. Please update it only via the CLI mode or let the CRON update Virtualizor to the latest version.

Virtualizor 2.2.3 Released !

The Virtualizor Team has released Virtualizor 2.2.3
This version contains some major feature additions and a bug fix.

Below is a list of changes:
1) The Pie Graphs have been updated throughout Virtualizor.
2) The Nodes Bandwidth Graph has been updated and it also shows the incoming and outgoing bandwidth details.
3) The Admin can now specify the Bandwidth of the Node so that the Graphs indicate a true picture of the ramining bandwidth. One can specify the Node Bandwidth in the Admin Panel -> Configuration -> General Settings.
4) Added an option to generate a 2048 bit RSA key while creating the SSL certificate.
5) Added a master switch to enable or disable emails from the Virtualizor panel.
6) Added IP stealing restriction for KVM VPSs (only on RHEL, SL, CentOS 6).
7) Added hourly backups option in VPS Backup Settings.
8) VPSs can now be searched by hostname on the List VS page.
9) KVM VPSs now report the same CPU model as that of the host it is running on. (only on RHEL, SL, CentOS 6).
10) VPS Backups/Restore are now optimized to take less space while backing up a VPS. Previously it would allocate twice the size of the largest VPS as temporary backup storage, now it will only allocate exact size of the largest VPS as temporary storage space.
11) Added a pie graph in the SERVER STATISTICS section in the admin dashboard to show individual server disk storage information.
12) Added an option to specify the Disk Cache Mechanism for KVM VPSs. It has been added in the advanced options section in the CREATE VPS and EDIT VPS pages.
13) Added an option to specify the I/O mode for KVM VPSs. It has been added in the advanced options section in the CREATE VPS and EDIT VPS pages.
14) Added an option to disable compression of the Backups. This is optional and by default compression is always on.
15) The SSL Certificate feature in Virtualizor has been updated to show the CSR and also the CA Bundle.
16) [BUG FIX] A bug has been fixed where the CPU % would not be saved while editing Xen VPSs.
17) [BUG FIX] NAT IP Pools on a slave would not sync correctly to the master. This has been fixed.
18) [BUG FIX] The VPS Ram, CPU and Bandwidth Usage tables in the Admin Panel have been updated to show the correct order as per the VPS ID. Also the Hostname of the VPS will be shown.

We have added a UNIQUE feature in Virtualizor. Now when you install Virtualizor on a NEW Server, it will download the LATEST OS template available from our OS Templates.

Also we have added the Portuguese Language in Virtualizor.

This version has some major changes and minor bug fixes.

Below is a list of changes:
1. Xen and KVM VPSs can now be re-sized live. No rebuild required.
2. Added NAT networking for VPSs on Xen and KVM while adding the IP Pool.
3. Added ROUTE networking for VPSs on Xen and KVM while adding the IP Pool.
4. Added option to disable the control panel option in the end-user panel.
5. Added a feature to group OS templates into media groups. Media groups can then be assigned to individual VPSs.
6. ISOs and OS templates have been clubbed together, all now appear under the Media menu item.
7. Disk Inodes in OpenVZ is now added to UBC and is removed from Add and Edit VS pages.
8. Added an option to limit the CPU % in Xen.
9. [BETA] Added a DNS management system which utilizes PowerDNS. This is being launched as beta.
10. Added the Polish language.
11.[BUGFIX] A bug has been fixed where if the virtualizor service was not started, no error would be displayed.
12.[BUGFIX] The free space of the Volume Group was using the base of 1000, it is now corrected to use the base of 1024.
